RADIO JOBS For On Air TalentREMEMBER, WHILE WE CHECK ALL ADS, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW IF ALL ARE LEGITIMATE |
| When you get to station link, look for "Employment" or "Careers" These are the home pages of the country's largest radio chains. To simplify things, go to JOBS on these sites and type in keywords 'on-air' or 'announcer'.
The following are State Broadcaster sites. Most states have a fairly up-to-date listing of jobs. You can go to 'careers', then enter the type of job you want, ie, news, on air, production and so on. Most states keep their jobs available current. A very few states will just link to a national radio jobs website. We have found that to be not quite as effective.
Here is a job hunting tip. Look for news about Program Directors. When a new PD comes in to a station, he/she usually makes some changes. That's your opportunity. Read all the mags, look at our website, and take the initiative.
